To prevent leaks of quarterly and other earnings announcements and ensure that this information is disclosed fairly, NITTOKU observes a quiet period that begins on the 16th day of the month in which the fiscal period to be reported ends and expires on the earnings announcement date.
During the quiet period, NITTOKU will not provide responses concerning any comments or questions about results of operations or the outlook for results of operations.
However, if during the quiet period NITTOKU discovers a reason to expect a significant change in the forecast for results of operations, NITTOKU may decide to announce this information in a suitable manner in accordance with the timely disclosure rules and its own judgments.

5. Disclosure of information to third parties and third-party forecasts

When NITTOKU holds meetings with institutional investors, securities analysts and other investment professionals, only facts that have already been disclosed, facts that are public knowledge and general information about market conditions will be provided to these individuals.
